Parmarbrook carried out the main Civil Engineering works for the development of a Brownfield site and the construction of 75 residential units.

The site had many constraints including a difficult topography and ground conditions. Our design approach included the design of a new surface water retention pond to control and attenuate surface water flows to a Greenfield run-off rates which were agreed with Essex SUDS.

Due to the site levels a new Adoptable Foul Water Pump Station was required to serve the foul water flows generated on site before outfalling to the existing Public Sewers in the main Public Highway. All drainage works were designed to Adoptable Standards to the satisfaction of the local Water Authority.

Our works also included designing the upgrade of the existing site access under a Section 278 Agreement. This included off-site improvement works to the existing Highway network.
